What Does DD Mean On Wall Street Bets?
So you’re new to Wall Street Bets, you’ve got your free Robinhood stock and you’re ready to start losing money. You see all the cool kids talking about quality DD’s but you’re confused since you’re pretty sure they’re not talking about titties. So what do you do next? Ask your new friends at Wall Street Bets of course! They then proceed to give you quality answers like “Nobody tell him”, seemingly real answers like “Double Down”, and obvious troll answers like “Double Dicking”. But you know they’re not telling you the truth. They’re just keeping the Tendies for themselves!
Well the truth is DD stand for “Due Diligence”
Tame, I know. But its the truth. Not everything on Wall Street Bets is going to be as crude as possible. In this case it’s a normal financial term.
What actually is Due Diligence then ?
This might go over some of your heads but Due Diligence basically means researching a stock before you FOMO YOLO buy it because it has a cool name. And no that doesn’t mean just looking at the 1 day stock chart on google search. Real DD means looking at revenue, costs, analyzing PE against future growth.
